【那提】唐言福生。具依梵言，則云布如焉伐耶，此但訛略，而云那提也。本中印度人。慈恩翻譯。

[Puṇyodaya] In the language of the Tang: "Merit-Born" (Fusheng). Fully according to Sanskrit, it is said as *Puṇyodaya*; this is merely a corrupt abbreviation, saying Nadi. Originally a man of Central India. He translated at Ci'en [Monastery].
