【阿耆多翅舍欽婆羅】什曰：「阿耆多翅舍，字也。欽婆羅，麁衣也。其人起計，非因計因，著麁皮衣，及拔髮煙熏鼻等，以諸苦行為道也。」肇曰：「翅舍欽婆羅，麁弊衣名也。其人著弊衣，自拔髮，五熱炙身。以苦行為道，謂今身併受苦，後身常樂。」

[Ajita Kesakambala] Kumārajīva says: "Ajita Kesa is the personal name; kambala is coarse clothing. This person formed the conception that non-causes are causes, wearing coarse fur clothing, plucking out hair, smoking the nose, and the like, taking all sorts of austerities as the path." Sengzhao says: "Kesakambala is the name of coarse and ragged clothing. This person wore ragged clothing, plucked out his own hair, and scorched his body with the five heats. Taking austerities as the path, he asserted that by enduring suffering together in this life, one will have eternal bliss in future lives."
