【宮毘羅】此云蛟，有鱗曰蛟龍。《抱朴子》曰：「母龍曰蛟，子曰虬。」《山海經》：「蛟似蛇而四脚，小頭細頸。」

[Kumbhīra] Translated here as *jiao*; a dragon with scales is called a *jiaolong*. The *Baopuzi* says: "A mother dragon is called a *jiao*; its child is called a *qiu*." The *Shanhaijing* says: "The *jiao* resembles a snake with four feet, a small head, and a slender neck."
