【波利質多羅】此云圓生。《大經》云：「三十三天有波利質多羅樹，其根入地深五由旬，高百由旬，枝葉四布五十由旬。其華開敷，香氣周遍五十由旬。」又翻間錯莊嚴，眾雜色華，周匝莊嚴。《法華文句》指此為天樹王也。

[Pārijātaka]: Translated here as "round-born." The Great Sūtra says: "In the Heaven of the Thirty-Three there is a pārijātaka tree; its roots enter the earth to a depth of five yojanas, it is one hundred yojanas tall, and its branches and leaves spread in the four directions for fifty yojanas. When its flowers bloom, their fragrant scent pervades fifty yojanas." It is also translated as "interspersed adornment," being adorned all around with variegated flowers. The Fahua wenju points to this as the king of celestial trees.
