【他那】此云處。真諦云：「住處有二：一、境界處，游歷之境，為化在俗之流。二、依止處，為統出家之眾，此即祇園。」《婆沙》云：「舉舍衛，令遠人知，國是總也。舉祇園，令近人知，園是別也。」

[Thāna] Here translated as "Place." Paramārtha says: "There are two kinds of dwelling places: first, the place of sphere of activity, the realm of travel, for converting laypeople; second, the place of reliance, for governing the monastic community, which is the Jeta Grove." The Vibhāṣā says: "Mentioning Śrāvastī informs those far away, as the country is general; mentioning the Jeta Grove informs those nearby, as the grove is specific."
