【蘇伐剌拏瞿呾羅】《西域記》云：「唐言金氏，出上黃金，世以女為王，因以女為國。」

[Suvarṇagotra] The *Xiyu ji* says: “In the language of the Tang it is called Gold Clan. It produces superior yellow gold. For generations they have taken a woman as king, and therefore took woman as the name of the kingdom.”
