【曇無德】亦名曇摩毱多，此云法密。隱覆即密義，又翻法藏。《大集》云：「我涅槃後，我諸弟子受持如來十二部經，書寫讀誦，顛倒宣說。以倒說故，隱覆法藏。人名曇摩毱多，法名四分，天音折埵理。」

[Dharmagupta] Also called Tanmoguoduo; this means "Dharma-secret". Concealment is the meaning of secret; it is also translated as "Dharma-treasury". The Daji jing says: "After my nirvāṇa, my disciples will uphold the Tathāgata's twelve divisions of scriptures, writing, reading, and reciting them, but expounding them upside-down. Because of their upside-down preaching, they will conceal the Dharma-treasury. The person is named Dharmagupta, the Dharma is named the Four-Part [Vinaya], and in the celestial language it is catur-dha."
