【邏求】秦言輕。《大品》邏字門，諸法度世門故。亦愛枝因滅故。論曰：「若聞邏字，即知一切法離輕重相。」《華嚴》唱邏字門，名離依止無垢。疏云：「邏字，悟一切法離世間故。」

【Laghu】In Qin, 'light'. The Large Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra states that the letter-gate la is because all dharmas are the gate of transcending the world, and also because the causes of the branches of craving are extinguished. The Treatise states: "If one hears the letter la, one immediately knows that all dharmas are free from the marks of lightness and heaviness." In the Avataṃsaka Sūtra, chanting the letter-gate la is named 'free from reliance and stainless'. The Commentary states: "The letter la means awakening to all dharmas being free from the mundane world."
