【健男】或羯南，此云凝厚。漸堅硬故，亦云硬肉，胎四七日。雖有身意，缺眼四根，六處未全，但號名色。《涅槃》「佛言：『如說名色繫縛眾生，名色若滅，則無眾生。離名色已，無別眾生；離眾生已，無別名色。亦名名色繫縛眾生，亦名眾生繫縛名色。』」

Also kalala/ghana (羯南). Here translated as "coagulated thickness" (凝厚). Because it gradually hardens, it is also called "hard flesh"; it is the fourth seven days in the womb. Although it has the faculties of body and mind, it lacks the four faculties such as the eyes, and because the six bases are not yet complete, it is merely called "name-and-form" (nāmarūpa). The Nirvāṇa [Sūtra says]: "The Buddha said: 'As it is said, name-and-form binds sentient beings; if name-and-form ceases, then there are no sentient beings. Apart from name-and-form, there are no separate sentient beings; apart from sentient beings, there is no separate name-and-form. It is both said that name-and-form binds sentient beings, and that sentient beings bind name-and-form.'"
