卷初記云。太歲己卯鶉尾之歲十一月十一日。在長安出此比丘尼大戒。其月二十六日訖。僧純於龜茲佛陀舌彌許戒本曇摩侍傳。佛念執胡。慧常筆受。

The record at the beginning of the scroll states: 'On the eleventh day of the eleventh month in the jimao year of the Grand Year, the year of Chunwei (379 CE), this great bhikṣuṇī prātimokṣa was translated in Chang'an, concluding on the twenty-sixth day of that month. Sengchun obtained the precept text from Buddhasmṛti in Kucha; Dharmanandi transmitted it, Zhu Fonian held the Indic text, and Huichang served as the scribal recorder.'
