宋元嘉十二年歲在乙亥。楊州聚落丹陽郡[示*末]陵縣平樂寺三藏。與弟子共出此律。從正月起。至九月二十二日草成。二十五日寫畢。白衣優婆塞張道孫敬信執寫。

In the twelfth year of the Yuanjia reign of the Song, the year being Yihai [435 CE], the tripiṭaka master of Pingle Temple in Moling County, Danyang Commandery, within the settlement of Yangzhou, together with his disciples produced this Vinaya. Beginning from the first month, the draft was completed on the twenty-second day of the ninth month, and copying was finished on the twenty-fifth day. The white-robed upāsaka Zhang Daosun copied it with reverent faith.
