太康十年十二月二日。月支菩薩法護。手執梵書口宣晉言。聶道真筆受。於洛陽城西白馬寺中始出。折顯元寫使功德流布。一切蒙福度脫。

On the second day of the twelfth month of the tenth year of the Taikang era (289 CE), the Yuezhi Bodhisattva Dharmarakṣa held the Sanskrit text in his hands and recited it orally in the Jin language. Nie Daozhen was the scribal recorder. It was first produced in Baima Temple west of the city of Luoyang. Zhe Xianyuan copied it so that its merit might spread and all might receive blessings and deliverance.
