雷音震響。錄簡青編。匪言曷教。非迹靡傳。是資妙象。實寄幽筌。照之慧燭。濟以寶船。懇哉至矣。在應斯圓。覆其靉靆。浸此熙漣。救焚拯溺。去蓋銷纏。灼灼應韓。英英河楚。松孤桂鬱。鸞栖鵬舉。照野光朝。潤山枯渚。濫源茲永。覆匱已多。欝為蕃幹。擢此天柯。寄誠梵表。託好禪阿。接足能仁。心直妙覺。用遺滯染。是祛塵濁。靡向非真。何背非俗。一忘受想。將損味觸。無德不詶。有感必召。吐彼神決。示我玄要。既蠲既已。留華及少。等以北恒。均之東耀。

The thunderous voice vibrates and resounds; / the bamboo tablets and green silk record it. / Without words, how could there be teaching? / Without traces, nothing could be transmitted. / Relying on the marvelous images, / it is truly entrusted to the profound snare. / Illuminated by the lamp of wisdom, / ferried across by the precious vessel. / Sincere indeed, supreme indeed! / In response it attains this perfection. / Covering like dense clouds, / soaking like these joyous ripples. / Rescuing from fire, delivering from drowning, / dispelling the coverings, dissolving the fetters. / Resplendent are the sons of Ying and Han, / glorious are the scions of He and Chu. / The pine stands solitary, the cassia lush; / the luan roosts, the roe ascends. / Illuminating the wilderness, brightening the court, / moistening the mountains, replenishing the dried-up islets. / The overflowing spring is ever-enduring; / the overturned baskets of earth are already manifold. / Flourishing into a trunk of the feudatories, / raising aloft these heavenly branches. / Entrusting sincerity beyond the Brahma realm, / placing affection upon the dhyāna slopes. / Touching the feet of Śākyamuni, / the mind aims directly at marvelous awakening. / Thereby relinquishing lingering defilements, / thus purging worldly impurities. / Nothing aimed at is not the truth; / what is turned from that is not the mundane? / Once sensation and perception are forgotten, / tastes and touch will be diminished. / No virtue goes unrewarded; / every heartfelt impulse brings a response. / Breathing out that divine judgment, / revealing to us the mysterious essentials. / Both dispelled and brought to an end, / retaining splendor and youth, / equal to the northern Ganges, / matching the radiance of the east."
