依撿群錄斯緣備列詳之。今復連寫則致弊於紙墨。然恐亂於疑偽。或有涉於緝修。故兩錄列名。定非別生之位。自餘不顯。便是支分之經。又代代分張卷部漸廣。故且約指大數求名。故目出之。

According to the examination of various catalogues, these circumstances are fully recorded in detail. If they were to be transcribed in continuous succession here, it would cause a waste of paper and ink. However, lest they be confused with apocryphal scriptures, or involve edited compilations, the titles listed in the two catalogues are definitely not designated as separate extracts. The rest, which are not explicitly shown, are indeed extracted scriptures. Furthermore, generation by generation they were fragmented, and their fascicles and works gradually multiplied. Therefore, we briefly estimate their approximate numbers and seek their titles, setting them forth in the catalogue below.
