余以從心之年。強加直筆舒通經教。庶幾無沒。幸冀後賢捃其遠致使法寶流被津潤惟遠。豈不好耶。龍朔四年春正月於西明寺出之。

Now at the age of following my heart's desires, I have exerted myself with an upright brush to unfold and elucidate the sūtra teachings, in the hope that they will not sink into oblivion. I fortunate[ly] hope that future worthies will glean their far-reaching purports, causing the jewel of the Dharma to flow, spread, moisten, and nourish far into the distance—how could this not be good? Issued at Ximing Si in the first month, spring, of the fourth year of Longshuo.
