沙門佛陀多羅。唐云覺救。北印度罽賓人也。於東都白馬寺。譯大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經（一卷）此經近出不委何年。且弘道為懷務甄詐妄。但真詮不謬豈假具知年月耶。

The śramaṇa Buddhatrāta (in Tang: Juejiu) was a native of Kapiśa in North India. At Baima Monastery in the eastern capital, he translated the Mahāvaipulya-pūrṇabuddha-sūtra-pratītārtha-sūtra (one fascicle). This sūtra appeared recently, and the exact year is unknown. Since his aspiration was to propagate the Way and his concern was to discern fraudulence and falsehood, provided the true exposition is not erroneous, what need is there to know the year and month in detail?
