右闕本經者。自微言西絕像教東流年載。既其浩然翻傳蓋亦多矣。遂使市朝陵谷處處遷移。貝葉繩花時時散失。今尋求未獲者。故列於闕本焉。

Concerning the missing texts listed above: Since the subtle words ceased in the West and the semblance teaching flowed to the East, the passing of years has indeed been vast, and the translations transmitted have likewise been manifold. Consequently, market towns and imperial courts, hills and valleys have shifted everywhere; palm leaves and binding cords have scattered and been lost from time to time. Those that have now been sought but not yet obtained are therefore listed among the missing texts.
