From the tenth year (dingmao) of the Yongping era of Emperor Ming to the first year (gengzi) of the Yankang era of Emperor Xian, there were in all eleven emperors and one hundred and fifty-four years; twelve translators among the clergy and laity; and the sūtras and vinayas produced, together with newly and previously compiled anonymous sūtras, total 292 works in 395 fascicles (among them, 97 works in 131 fascicles are extant, and 195 works in 264 fascicles are lost texts).
