From the first year of Huangwu of Sun Quan (posthumously titled Grand Ancestor, Emperor Wen), a renyin year [222 CE], to the fourth year of Tianji of Sun Hao (without posthumous title), a gengzi year [280 CE], spanning altogether four rulers and fifty-nine years, there were five persons among the clergy and laity. The scriptures and so forth translated by them, together with the anonymous translations, total one hundred eighty-nine works in four hundred seventeen fascicles (among them, sixty-one works in ninety-two fascicles are extant, and one hundred twenty-eight works in three hundred twenty-five fascicles are lost).
