From the first year of the Taishi era of Emperor Wu, yiyou, to the fourth year of the Jianxing era of Emperor Min, bingzi. Spanning four emperors and fifty-two years in all. Twelve individuals of the clergy and laity. The sūtras, vinaya, compilations, and so forth produced, along with sūtras of anonymous translations newly and previously compiled: totaling three hundred thirty works in five hundred ninety fascicles (of which one hundred fifty-six works in three hundred twenty-one fascicles are extant, and one hundred seventy-seven works in two hundred sixty-nine fascicles are lost texts).
