From the first year of the Jianyuan era of Emperor Gao, jiwei [479 CE], to the second year of the Zhongxing era of Emperor He, renwu [502 CE], across a total of seven rulers and twenty-four years, there were seven śramaṇas who translated a total of twelve works of sūtras and vinayas in thirty-three fascicles (among them, seven works in twenty-eight fascicles are extant, and five works in five fascicles are lost texts).
