Composed in response to imperial command across four reigns: translated sūtras, śāstras, and recitation rituals, along with compiled commentaries, records, stelae, memorials, catalogues, and collections, total three hundred and forty-three fascicles (three hundred and forty-five fascicles including catalogues); [comprising] one hundred and ninety-three fascicles of sūtras, śāstras, and recitation rituals; sixty-four fascicles of commentaries and exegeses on sūtras and śāstras; and eighty-six fascicles of newly collected ancient and modern edicts, stelae, memorials, and records of the Zhenyuan era (eighty-nine fascicles including the catalogue).
