車駕避暑於明德宮法師亦陪從。安置飛花殿譯大毘婆沙等論。五月　勅法師還於積翠宮翻譯。法師初謁文帝。已請於少林寺翻經。至是秋九月復請入少林。

the imperial carriage went to escape the heat at the Mingde Palace, and the Dharma Master also accompanied them. He was accommodated in the Feihua Hall, where he translated the Da Piposa (*Mahāvibhāṣā) and other treatises. In the fifth month, an imperial decree ordered the Dharma Master to return to the Jicui Palace to continue translating. When the Dharma Master first had an audience with Emperor Wen (Taizong), he had already requested permission to translate scriptures at Shaolin Monastery; by this autumn, in the ninth month, he once again requested to enter Shaolin.
