疑或錄者。自梵經東闡年將七百。教有興廢時復遷移。先後翻傳卷將萬計。部帙既廣尋閱難周。定錄之人隨聞便上。而不細尋宗旨理或疑焉。今恐真偽交參是非相涉。故為別錄以示將來。庶明達高人重為詳定。

Regarding the Catalogue of Doubtful Works: since the Indic scriptures were first propagated to the east, nearly seven hundred years have passed. As the teachings experienced flourishing and decline, eras also shifted. Translations transmitted earlier and later count nearly ten thousand fascicles. As the sections and cases are vast, examining them completely is difficult. Those who established catalogues often entered works as soon as they heard of them, without closely investigating their primary tenets, and thus their principles may be open to doubt. Now, fearing that the authentic and the counterfeit might be intermingled and right and wrong confused, I have created this separate catalogue to show future generations, hoping that enlightened and eminent persons will re-examine and determine them.
