"The above-mentioned ordination platform cloister was erected during the lifetime of Preceptor [Vajrabodhi], who relinquished his robes and bowl [to fund it]. When Amoghavajra received full ordination, he likewise made a sincere vow promising to repair it jointly. Amoghavajra has unworthily received the sacred favor, hoping that the jade mirror may open anew, beholding the old guidelines of the Great Master and looking forward to the golden wheel turning again. I now request the establishment of a cloister placard for the 'Sarvāstivāda Ordination Platform' and the selection of seven eminent virtuous monks of noble conduct, so that throughout the four seasons they may expound and recite the Vinaya rules for the monks, and during the six periods of the day practice the Dharma-gates of the Three Mysteries in service of the state." The former Specially Advanced, Probationary Director of the Court of State Ceremonial, Tripiṭaka Śramaṇa of Daxingshan Monastery, Amoghavajra of Vast and Great Wisdom, memorializes as above. "Regarding the monks drawn for the aforementioned cloisters and all monastic affairs, I also request that they be exempt and differentiated from the various other monasteries. Respectfully set forth as above."
