Tuoluoni pin ji, 10 fascicles, one wrapper (compiler unknown. Now appended to the Liang catalogue. The above single collection of dhāraṇīs was treated in the Great Zhou Catalogue as a Mahāyāna single translation and stated to have lost its translator; this is not so. Upon inspecting its text, it is indeed an anthology compiled in this land and not an independent translation from an Indic original. How this is known: scriptures such as the Qifo shendazhou jing and the Tuolinibuo jing were all translated during the Jin dynasty. The Huzhutongzi tuoluoni jing was translated by Bodhiruci under the Northern Wei. Moreover, the Tuolinibuo jing and the Zuishangdengwang jing are two different translations of the same text. Because such scriptures were all compiled into it, it cannot be transmitted from an Indic text. It is certainly a compilation composed in this land. It is unknown who specifically compiled it, hence this explanation is given).

From the Da foming jing and Shijia pu downward, the 44 works totalling 422 fascicles were all compiled by worthy and virtuous persons of this land. They provide aid to and magnify the Great Dharma, and truly serve as the guiding principles for sustaining it in this final age. Therefore, they are compiled into this catalogue and copied for distribution and circulation. If one copies the canon, one may select or omit according to inclination. Although various historical records and biographies pertain to the Buddhist tradition, those that do not protect the Dharma are not recorded here.
Total count of Hīnayāna sūtra, vinaya, and śāstra, and anthologies and biographies of sages and saints currently circulating:
In total, 459 works, combined into 2,402 fascicles, 234 wrappers.
Shamen Falin zhuan, 3 fascicles, composed by the śramaṇa Yancong.
The older catalogue states concerning the above single biographical work: "Prohibited by explicit imperial edict and not permitted to circulate, it is therefore not compiled or recorded." Now, examining this intention, it was perhaps only for a particular time. Yet because it does not violate statutory regulations, it is hoped that it may be permitted to be entered into the Zhenyuan Catalogue.
