Luomojia jing (Rāmaka-sūtra), 3 fascicles (a minor different translation of the Entry into the Dharmadhātu Chapter of the Avataṃsaka-sūtra; see the Neidian lu);
Taizi Xudana jing (Crown Prince Sudāna Sūtra), 1 fascicle (different translation of the second fascicle of the Shat-pāramitā-saṃgraha; produced at Xin Monastery in Jiangling, transcribed by Yu Shuang; sometimes titled Xudana; see the Shixing lu and the Baochang lu; should have belonged to the Jin translation period, but is appended here under the Qin);
Shan zi jing (Śyāmaka Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Xiaozishi Shan jing, Pusa Shan jing, Foshuo Shan jing, Shan ben jing, and Xiaozishi Yin jing, six titles in all; the fourth translation, being an alternate translation of the second fascicle of the Shat-pāramitā-saṃgraha; see the Shixing and Fashang catalogues);
Mohe shatou jing (Mahā-śatou Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Guan fo xingxiang and directly Guan fo jing; the second translation, identical in text to Guanxi fo xingxiang; see the Shixing lu);
Wu yaji chi famen jing (Sūtra on the Boundless Dharani-gate of Dharma), 1 fascicle (also titled Wuji jing; the first translation, identical in text to the Zunsheng pusa suowen jing and others; see the Shixing lu and Fashang lu);
Yan daosu ye jing (Sūtra on Expounding the Karmic Actions of the Clergy and Laity), 1 fascicle (the second translation, identical in text to Zhi Qian's translation; see the Fashang lu);
Chu kongzai huan jing (Sūtra on Eliminating Terrifying Calamities and Disasters), 1 fascicle (the second translation, identical in text to Bo Yan's translation; see the Shixing, Baochang, and Fashang catalogues);
Xianshou jing (Bhadraśrī Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Xianshou furen jing; see the Shixing lu);
Anan fenbie jing (Ānanda's Distinction Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Anan wen shi fo jixiong jing; the third translation; see the Shixing lu and Fashang lu);
Furen yu gu jing (Sūtra on the Woman Who Met with Misfortune), 1 fascicle (also titled Fu yu dui jing; see the Shixing and Fashang catalogues; the works above are extant; those below are missing);
Fangdeng zhu xukongzang jing (Vaipulya-prabhu Ākāśagarbha Sūtra), 8 fascicles (also titled Xukongzang suowen jing, or Quanfa pusa zhuangyan puti jing; sometimes 5 fascicles; an alternate translation of the Ākāśagarbha chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta; see the Jin-period Miscellany Catalogue and the Fashang lu; the note claiming it is the same text as the Luomojia jing is incorrect);
Pusa suosheng di jing (Sūtra on the Bodhisattva's Place of Birth), 1 fascicle (also titled Mojie suowen jing; the second translation; see the Zhao lu; not knowing whether it belongs to the Earlier or Later Zhao, it is appended under the Western Qin based on the person; see the Shixing lu);
Bei jing, 1 fascicle (the third translation; see the Fashang lu);
Tongjiaye jienan jing (Kumāra-kāśyapa Resolving Difficulties Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Tongjiaye jing; identical in text to the Jiumoluojiaye jing; Sengyou notes it was extracted from the Dīrgha-āgama, transcribed by Yu Shuang; see the four catalogues of Shixing, Wang Zong, Baochang, and Zhi Mindu);
Qi nü ben jing (The Fundamental Sūtra of the Seven Maidens), 1 fascicle (also titled Nü ben xinming jing and Qi nü jing; the third translation; see Zhi Mindu's General Catalogue).
The 15 works in 24 fascicles above (the 10 works in 12 fascicles ending with the Furen yu gu jing are extant; the 5 works in 12 fascicles from the Fangdeng zhu xukongzang jing down are missing).
Śramaṇa Shi Shengjian, also called Fajian, or the Venerable Jian. It is not clear which is correct;
hence all are listed. His capacity was vast and universal, his mind set on benefiting living beings. During the Taichu era of the Qifu Qin,
he translated 15 works including the Luomojia jing for Gengui (posthumously titled King Wuyuan) in the Henan State. Examining his career, Shengjian traveled and converted, producing sūtras wherever he went;
having no fixed residence, it is unknown which dynastic catalogue he should correctly be listed under. Now, following Fashang,
he is entirely catalogued under the Qifu Qin Dynasty.
Shamiluo jing (Śāmīra Sūtra), 1 fascicle (the second translation, identical in text to the Wu muzi jing);
Saposa wang jing (King Sarvasattva Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Aduo sanmei jing (A-duo Samādhi Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also written as Aduo);
Tuoxian wang jing (King Tuoxian Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Batuo huiguo jing (Bhadra's Repentance Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Fangdeng jue jing (Vaipulya Resolving Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Biqiu ershi jing (Sūtra on the Bhikṣu's Two Affairs), 1 fascicle (Sengyou's catalogue lists it as Sanshi; the seven works above are listed in Sengyou's catalogue as Dao'an's anomalous sūtras from Guanzhong).
The 7 works in 7 fascicles above (the first, Shamiluo jing, is extant; the rest are missing). Fei Changfang's catalogue states that these were all recorded by Śramaṇa Sengyou's Collection of Records of the Tripiṭaka as Shi Dao'an's anomalous texts from Guanzhong.
They are now re-appended to the Three Qin Dynasties' catalogue as anonymous translations with unknown dates and places.
Changfang's catalogue also had the Hu ben jing in 4 fascicles (a note below states: "seems to have been produced in Chang'an"); this is already recorded under the Later Han anonymous translation catalogue. Its presence here was a duplication, so it has been excised and excluded. Those below are newly appended to this catalogue:
Tianwang taizi Piluo jing (Crown Prince Piluo, Son of the Heavenly King, Sūtra), 1 fascicle (sometimes without the words Tianwang; also titled Taizi Piluo jing);
Pusa benxing jing (Bodhisattva's Original Deeds Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Da zhenbaoji weiri jing (Great Treasure Heap Daily Contemplation Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Duojialuo wen pusa jing (Tokhara's Inquiries to the Bodhisattva Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Anan wei gudao zhou jing (Incantation Sūtra for Ānanda's Affliction by Sorcery), 1 fascicle (old catalogues title it Anan wei gudao suo zhou jing; suspected of being the Modengnü jing in the canon);
Wangshecheng lingjiushan jing (Rājagṛha's Vulture Peak Sūtra), 1 fascicle (old catalogues title it Wangshecheng lingjiushan yaozhi jing);
Sidao jing (Contemplation of the Path Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Fo zai zhuyuan jing (Sūtra of the Buddha in the Bamboo Grove), 1 fascicle;
Fa wei ren jing (Dharma for Humans Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Daoyi jing (Aspiration for the Path Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Ayi biqiu jing (Bhikṣu Ayi Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Ba de jing (Eight Virtues Sūtra), 1 fascicle (now suspected of being the Hai ba de jing);
Shande jing (Good Virtue Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Mohegan tuoweiweiluojinxin biqiu deng du jing (Mahāgandhavairalyajina(?) Bhikṣu Deliverance Sūtra), 1 fascicle (old catalogues title it Jinxin biqiu jing).
The 14 works in 14 fascicles above (the first, Taizi Piluo jing, is extant; the rest recorded are missing).
Sengyou's catalogue notes that Dao'an's anomalous sūtras from Guanzhong were omitted by Changfang and other catalogues. Sengyou recorded
a total of 24 fascicles of Dao'an's anomalous sūtras from Guanzhong. Among them,
7 fascicles are as listed in Changfang's catalogue. Now, 14 more sūtras are brought out,
making 21 works in all. The remaining 3 works are designated with translators in Changfang and other catalogues,
and are therefore omitted here.
Da baoji jing (Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra), 1 fascicle (now compiled into the 43rd Assembly of the Ratnakūṭa and renamed the Puming pusa hui; the second translation, an alternate translation sharing the same source text with the Mohe baoyan, Fo yiri, and Moni bao sūtras);
Du zhufuo jingjie zhiguangyan jing (Wisdom Radiance Adornment Crossing the Realm of All Buddhas Sūtra), 1 fascicle (the first translation, sharing the same source text with the Fo huayan ru rulai dezhi busiyiyi jingjie jing; the old view that it shares the same source text with the Rulai zhuangyan zhihui guangming ru yiqie fo jingjie jing is completely mistaken);
Dabei fentuoli jing (Mahākaruṇā-puṇḍarīka-sūtra), 8 fascicles (also titled Dacheng bei fentuoli jing; the second translation, sharing the same source text with Dharmakṣema's Karuṇāpuṇḍarīka-sūtra and others);
Da jinse kongque wang zhou jing (Great Golden Peacock King Spell Sūtra), 1 fascicle (the fifth translation);
Foshuo da jinse kongque wang zhou jing (Buddha's Great Golden Peacock King Spell Sūtra), 1 fascicle (the sixth translation; the two sūtras share the same source text);
Da fangguang rulai mimizang jing (Mahāvaipulya Tathāgatagarbha-guhya Sūtra), 2 fascicles (the Great Zhou catalogue's statement that it shares the same source text with the Da fangdeng rulai zang jing is incorrect);
Jingang sanmei benxing qingjing buhuai bumie jing (Vajrasamādhi Original Nature Purity Indestructible and Imperishable Sūtra), 1 fascicle (also titled Jingang qingjing jing; Changfang's catalogue and others attribute it to Zhi Qian of the Wu, and it is also listed among the Later Han anonymous translations, both of which are incorrect; now examining the phrasing, it seems to be a Qin translation, hence moved and compiled here);
Shizimu fo bensheng jing (Simhanetra Buddha Jātaka Sūtra), 1 fascicle (Changfang and other catalogues attribute it to Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin; now examining the phrasing, it was not produced by Dharmarakṣa but seems to be a Qin translation, hence moved and compiled here);
Shi jixiang jing (Ten Auspiciousness Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Yiqiezhiguangming xianren cixin yinyuan bushi rou jing (Sarvajñaprabha Ṛṣi's Compassionate Mind and Non-meat-eating Nidāna Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Jing yezhang jing (Purification of Karmic Hindrances Sūtra), 1 fascicle;
Bieyi za ahan jing (Alternative Translation of Saṃyuktāgama), 20 fascicles;
Chujia gongde jing (Merit of Renunciation Sūtra), 1 fascicle (not the one extracted from the Xianyu jing);
Pini mu jing (Vinayamātṛkā Sūtra), 8 fascicles (also called Pini mu lun);
Sapoduo pini piposha (Sarvāstivāda-vinaya-vibhāṣā), 9 fascicles;
Sanmiti bu lun (Saṃmatīya-nikāya-śāstra), 3 fascicles (sometimes without the character bu, or said to be 4 fascicles);
Pizhifo yinyuan lun (Pratyekabuddha Nidāna Śāstra), 2 fascicles;
Shiba bu lun (Treatise on the Eighteen Schools), 1 fascicle (the first translation, sharing the same source text with the Bu yizhi lun and others; Changfang and others all stating it was translated by Paramārtha is incorrect);
Fo ru niepan mijijin'gang lishi ailian jing (Sūtra on Guhyapada-vajramalla's Grief-Stricken Lament upon the Buddha's Parinirvāṇa), 1 fascicle;
Wuming luocha ji (Collection on the Rākṣasa of Ignorance), 1 fascicle (also titled Wuming luocha jing, or 2 fascicles).
The 20 works in 65 fascicles above are all present in the canon. They seem to have been translated during the Qin
(several copies have the words "in the language of Qin").
None of the catalogues of anonymous translations had recorded them. They are now appended to this Qin catalogue to avoid omissions.
Together with the earlier 7 anonymous works in 7 fascicles and Dao'an's newly appended anomalous sūtras from Guanzhong,
there are 41 works in 86 fascicles in total, all classified as anonymous translations of the Three Qin Dynasties.
