From the gengwu year, the first year of the Tianbao era of Emperor Wenxuan, down to the dingyou year, the first year of the Chengguang era of Gao Heng (who had no posthumous title), spanning six rulers and twenty-eight years in total, two people, monk and lay, translated eight works of sūtra and śāstra in fifty-two fascicles.
