Then, through his supernatural power, King Prasenajit produced eighty thousand kinds of music; the eighteen Brahma heavens and the six desire heavens also produced eighty thousand kinds of music, their sound resounding through the three-thousandfold world and even to buddha-lands as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the ten directions, manifesting according to conditions. In those other buddha-lands, Bodhisattva Dharmaprabha in the south, together with an assembly of five hundred million koṭis, arrived together to enter this great gathering; Bodhisattva Ratnastambha in the east, together with an assembly of nine hundred million koṭis, arrived together to enter this great gathering; Bodhisattva Ākāśadhātu in the north, together with an assembly of one hundred thousand million koṭis, arrived together to enter this great gathering; Bodhisattva Supratiṣṭhita in the west, together with an assembly as numerous as the sands of ten Ganges rivers, arrived together to enter this great gathering. So it was likewise for the six directions; the making of music was also like this, together producing immeasurable music to awaken the Tathāgata. The Buddha, knowing the proper time and comprehending the capacities of sentient beings, immediately arose from samādhi, and sat squarely upon the lotus lion throne like the king of diamond mountains. The great assembly rejoiced, and each manifested immeasurable supernatural powers, the assembly remaining on the earth and in the sky.
