2.57

爾時，金剛手菩薩摩訶薩等，即從座起頂禮佛足，却住一面而白佛言：「世尊！我等本願，承佛神力，十方世界一切國土，若有此經受持、讀誦、解說之處，我當各與如是眷屬，於一念頃即至其所，守護正法、建立正法，令其國界無諸災難，刀兵疾疫一切皆除。

At that time, the bodhisattva mahāsattva Vajrapāṇi and the others arose from their seats, prostrated at the Buddha's feet, stepped back to stand at one side, and said to the Buddha: "Bhagavat! In accordance with our original vows and by the Buddha's spiritual power, in all the realms of the worlds of the ten directions wherever this sūtra is received, upheld, read, recited, and explained, each of us, together with such retinue, will arrive there in a single thought-moment to protect the true Dharma and establish the true Dharma, causing those lands to be free from all calamities, with weapons, warfare, pestilence, and epidemics entirely eliminated.
