"Furthermore, bodhisattvas of faithful kṣānti refer to the Stage of Joy, the Stage of Purity, and the Stage of Emitting Light; they can cut off the three hindrances and the bonds of physical defilements; practice the four means of embrace—giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and common work; cultivate the four immeasurables—the immeasurable mind of loving-kindness, the immeasurable mind of compassion, the immeasurable mind of joy, and the immeasurable mind of equanimity; are endowed with the four universal vows—cutting off all entanglements and coverings, constantly transforming sentient beings, cultivating the Buddha's knowledge and vision, and realizing unexcelled awakening; and abide in the three doors of liberation—the door of liberation of emptiness, the door of liberation of signlessness, and the door of liberation of wishlessness. This is the root of all practices from the initial aspiration up to omniscience for bodhisattva mahāsattvas, benefiting and bringing peace and happiness to all sentient beings."
