1.128

菩薩懷深智　何時不帶悲
投身憂虎餓　割肉恐鷹飢
精勤三大劫　曾無一念疲
如能同此行　皆得作天師

Bodhisattvas harbor deep wisdom;
When do they ever fail to carry compassion?
Casting away the body, worrying over a hungry tigress;
Slicing flesh, fearing a hawk's starvation.
Vigorously striving for three great kalpas,
Never weary for a single thought-moment.
If one can act in this same manner,
One will become a teacher of gods and humans.
