1.24

復次須菩提。於法應無所住。行於布施。所謂不住色布施。不住聲香味觸法布施。須菩提。菩薩應如是布施不住於相。何以故。若菩薩不住相布施。其福德不可思量。

"Furthermore, Subhūti, with respect to dharmas, one should practice dāna without abiding anywhere; that is, practice dāna without abiding in form, and practice dāna without abiding in sound, fragrance, taste, touch, or dharmas. Subhūti, a bodhisattva should practice dāna thus, not abiding in marks. Why is this? If a bodhisattva practices dāna without abiding in marks, their merit cannot be conceived."
