1.56

有因名假號　無相乃馳名
有無無別體　無有有無形
有無無自性　妄起有無情
有無如谷響　勿著有無聲

Existence is given provisional designations because of causes;
Signlessness is what spreads its fame.
Existence and non-existence have no distinct substance;
Non-existence and existence have no forms of existence or non-existence.
Existence and non-existence have no self-nature;
Delusion gives rise to sentiments of existence and non-existence.
Existence and non-existence are like echoes in a valley:
Do not cling to the sound of existence and non-existence.
