"Subhūti, if a good man or good woman in the morning gives away their body as many times as the sands of the Ganges, in the midday again gives away their body as many times as the sands of the Ganges, and in the evening also gives away their body as many times as the sands of the Ganges, giving away their body in this way for immeasurable hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of kalpas; and if there is another person who hears this scriptural text and whose mind of faith does not oppose it, their blessing surpasses that of the former. How much more so if one writes it down, accepts, upholds, reads, recites, and explains it for others!
