2.19

演曰。初二句修因所為。下兩句令除我法執。彼意只由不住能利眾生故除二執。眾生相違時便能忍受。正與此同彼曲生疑屬第八攝更不別開。

The Commentary says: The first two lines are what is done in cultivating the cause; the lower two lines cause the elimination of grasping at self and dharmas. The meaning there is simply that because of not dwelling, one can benefit sentient beings; therefore one eliminates the two graspings. When contradicted by sentient beings, one is then able to endure it. This is exactly the same as here; the intricate doubt raised there belongs to the eighth subsumption and is not opened separately.
