經。何以故　贊曰。此第三徵也。我相多是外道所起。虛妄執故。故信經者。可無外道所起我等。然此經教法體。不無於經生信。應有法體。無法等者。何以故耶。

Sūtra: "Why is this?" Commentary: This is the third [section], an interrogation. The mark of a self is mostly generated by non-Buddhists, being a false grasping; hence those who have faith in the sūtra may indeed be free from the self and so on generated by non-Buddhists. However, the dharmic substance of this sūtra's teaching is not non-existent. When one gives rise to faith regarding the sūtra, there should be a dharmic substance; why, then, is there "no dharma" and so forth?
