經。如是世尊如來有天眼　贊曰。此答也。以佛過去具足離修。於現果德常在三昧。能利自他觀無盡境。有報修得真天眼也。

Sūtra: “Even so, World-Honoured One, the Tathāgata possesses the divine eye.” / Commentary: This is the answer. Because the Buddha in the past was fully endowed with detachment and cultivation, and in his present fruition-virtue is constantly in samādhi, able to benefit himself and others and contemplate inexhaustible objects, he possesses the true divine eye acquired through recompense and cultivation.
