經。若是微塵至是微塵眾　贊曰。此釋也。明佛說塵非謂實有。若是實者。佛雖不說世情自知。佛何論說。

Sūtra: "If these atoms... is a collection of atoms." Commentary: This is the explanation. It clarifies that the Buddha's speaking of atoms does not mean they truly exist. If they were real, even if the Buddha did not speak of them, worldly sentiment would know it of itself; why would the Buddha discourse on them?
