2.53

經。是故至色等布施　贊曰。此結勸也。是有住者。即非忍故。故佛前說諸菩薩心不應住色而行布施。既住色等非真布施故。住色等亦非真忍。是故其心應無所住。

Sūtra: “Therefore … practice giving [without abiding in] forms and the rest.” Commentary: This is the concluding exhortation. One who has an abiding does not have forbearance; therefore, the Buddha previously said that the bodhisattva’s mind should not abide in forms when practicing giving. Since abiding in forms and the rest is not true giving, abiding in forms and the rest is also not true forbearance. Therefore, their minds should have no abiding.
