2.89

經。須菩提至而散其處　贊曰。此天等供養。以花鬘等恭敬供養。右繞禮拜故名是塔。說經之處地當可尊。次持經人身可重生無量殊勝福德。即前尊重身得福也。

Sūtra: "Subhūti... scatter [flowers] over that place." / Commentary: This is offerings by devas and others. Honouring and offering with flower garlands and so forth, circumambulating to the right and bowing, it is therefore called a caitya. The ground where the sūtra is spoken should be revered; next, the body of the person who upholds the sūtra should be doubly revered, gaining immeasurable, extraordinary merit. This corresponds to the earlier 'the body being honoured obtains merit.'
