第三明處會者。依大般若經總有四處十六會說。言四處者。一在王舍城鷲峯山中。二在室羅筏城給孤獨園。三在他化自在天摩尼寶藏殿。四在王舍城竹林園白鷺池側。言十六會者。具如彼說。問。此經四處之中當何處說。十六會中於何會說。答。四處之中當在給孤獨園說。十六會中第九說也。

Third, concerning clarifying the location and assembly: According to the Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra, it was spoken in a total of four locations and sixteen assemblies. The four locations are: 1. on Gṛdhrakūṭa Mountain in Rājagṛha; 2. in Anāthapiṇḍada's Park in Śrāvastī; 3. in the Mani Jewel Storehouse Palace of the Paranirmitavaśavartin Heaven; 4. by the side of the White Egret Pond in the Bamboo Grove at Rājagṛha. The sixteen assemblies are fully detailed as described therein. Question: Among these four locations, in which location was this sūtra spoken? Among the sixteen assemblies, in which assembly was it spoken? Answer: Among the four locations, it was spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's Park. Among the sixteen assemblies, it was spoken in the ninth.
