將釋此品四門同前。初釋名者。梵本具言花。謂蓮花。藏即。含藏。謂花臺之上積諸世界布列校飾名曰莊嚴。數多繁奧故稱為海有釋世界。

In preparing to explain this chapter, the four gates are the same as before. First, explaining the title: The Sanskrit text expresses it fully as "flower," meaning lotus flower. "Treasury" means containing and storing; that is, upon the lotus calyx various worlds are accumulated, arranged, arrayed, and adorned, which is called "adornment." Being vast in number and profound, it is termed an "ocean." Another interpretation [concerns] "world."
