1.6

第五子段。從譬如世間貧窮乞人訖百千萬億不可計倍。明西方大士容貌端政世之無雙。今以此土帝王乃至第六他化自在天比於百千萬億倍。不及一分也。故知。因曠劫來久今得妙勝果報也。

The fifth subdivision is from "Just as an impoverished beggar in the mundane world" through "hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of incalculable times." It explains that the mahāsattvas of the Western Direction have upright features without peer in the world. Even when compared with monarchs in this world up to the Heaven of Paranirmitavaśavartin, the sixth heaven, by hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of times, they do not match even one part. Thus we know that it is due to vast kalpas long in the past that they now obtain this wondrous and superior karmic fruition.
