1.78

經。神識還已至不造惡業　四親經過息。謂識還之時皆自憶知。善不善業所得果報。由自證見業果報故乃至失命不造惡業。

Sūtra: 'After the vijñāna has returned... will not commit bad karma.' Section 4: Personally experiencing it, past faults cease. This means that when the consciousness returns, it completely remembers and knows for itself the retributions obtained from good and bad karma. Because one has personally witnessed the retributions of karma, even at the cost of one's life one will not commit bad karma.
