4.43

第五從菩薩入此行者若見淨好佛土不以為喜已下訖盡力變化所不能作。明言對阿難𨋪切上方菩薩。第六從爾時眾香世界菩薩來者合掌白佛以下訖唯然世尊願少賜法還於彼土當念如來。明上方菩薩既被譏切悔過自責請法還土。第七從佛告諸菩薩已下訖是名有盡無盡解脫法門。明佛為說有盡無盡解脫法門即菩薩行體。第八從爾時彼諸菩薩聞說是法已下訖品。明上方菩薩香華種種供養表其慶情。

Fifth, from “When a bodhisattva enters this practice, if they see a pure and fine buddha-land, they do not take delight in it…” onwards down to “what even all the power of transformations cannot do,” it explains speaking directly to Ānanda to spur on the bodhisattvas of the higher realm. Sixth, from “At that time, the bodhisattvas who had come from the Sarvagandhasugandhā world joined their palms and said to the Buddha…” onwards down to “Yes, Bhagavat, we only wish that you grant a little Dharma so that upon returning to that land, we may be mindful of the Tathāgata,” it explains that after the bodhisattvas from the higher realm were spurred on, they repented their errors, blamed themselves, and requested the Dharma to return to their land. Seventh, from “The Buddha told the bodhisattvas…” onwards down to “this is called the dharma door of exhaustible and inexhaustible liberation,” it explains the Buddha preaching for them the dharma door of exhaustible and inexhaustible liberation, which is the essence of bodhisattva practice. Eighth, from “At that time, when those bodhisattvas heard this Dharma preached…” down to the end of the chapter, it explains the bodhisattvas from the higher realm offering various incense and flowers to express their joyous feelings.
