4.60

就此品中有二段明義。第一從初訖若他觀者名為邪觀。明觀如來之身。第二從爾時舍利問維摩詰汝於何沒以下訖已還置本處。出淨名生處。

In this chapter, the meaning is explained in two sections. The first, from the beginning up to "If one contemplates otherwise, it is called a false contemplation," clarifies contemplating the body of the Tathāgata. The second, from "At that time Śāriputra asked Vimalakīrti, 'Where did you die...?'" up to "placed it back in its original location," reveals Vimalakīrti's birthplace.
