佛告天帝王子月蓋已下引過去中第四段。以諸人悟道證法供養是勝。自得柔順忍。復化人得發心。證上法供養勝。

From the Buddha telling the Heavenly Emperor about Prince Candracchatra downward is the fourth section within citing the past, using various individuals' awakening to the path to verify that the Dharma offering is superior. Having personally attained the compliant forbearance, they further transformed others to bring about the arising of the mind [of bodhi], verifying that the superior Dharma offering is paramount.
