The first major section is from "The Buddha said" down to "If good sons or good daughters accept, uphold, and make offerings to this sūtra, they make offerings to the Buddhas of the past, future, and present." This sūtra clarifies the bodhi of the Buddhas of the three times; if one accepts and upholds it, one thereby makes offerings to the Buddhas of the three times.
