1.19

「普賢菩薩教其憶念十方諸佛，隨普賢教正心正意，漸以心眼見東方佛，身黃金色，端嚴微妙。見一佛已，復見一佛，如是漸漸遍見東方一切諸佛；心相利故，遍見十方一切諸佛。

"Samantabhadra Bodhisattva teaches him to recollect the Buddhas of the ten directions. Following Samantabhadra's teachings with an upright mind and upright intention, he gradually sees with his mind's eye the Buddhas of the east, their bodies of yellow-gold color, dignified, majestic, subtle, and wondrous. Having seen one Buddha, he sees another Buddha, and thus gradually sees all the Buddhas of the east; because his mental capacity is sharp, he sees all the Buddhas of the ten directions everywhere.
